Housing Development
Carr Brae Housing Development
The following information was kindly provided by Lochalsh & Skye Housing Association.
- Nature of the Development - The development is to be delivered in 2 separate phases. The first phase will involve the construction of the new Day Centre for Highland Council’s Social Work Services, (8) No. Special Needs affordable rented houses and the site development and infrastructure works for the remainder of the development. The construction of the remaining (29) No. affordable rented and shared equity houses and flats will form the second phase of the development. Please note that depending on the future availability of funding, etc the Association may choose to construct the remaining (29) No. houses in more than one development phase.
- Timeline – The Association is hopeful that the first phase construction works will start on site in early May and hope that the first phase will be complete by April 2010. Work on the second phase will commence once Scottish Water have provided increased waste water treatment capacity at their existing
